Greetings!
Kirloskar group of companies, one of the largest industrial
conglomerates in India, has been growing and enriching lives for more
than a century. Kirloskar Institute of Advanced Management Studies was
conceived as a training institute and knowledge hub in 1991. In line
with the philosophy and outlook of Kirloskar group, we have adopted
the ruling paradigm of “Education through Values”. KIAMS offers a two
year full time PGDM program at our two campuses Harihar and Pune.
We are glad to inform you that Kirloskar Institute of Advanced
Management Studies (KIAMS) is organizing an annual workshop cum
conference on “Management Concepts in Practice”- Institute-Industry
Nexus Workshop" on July 29 and 30, 2014 at its Pune campus. Through
this email, we would like to extend to you our invitation.
This workshop will focus on the 4 functional areas such as Marketing,
Finance, Operations and HR, the workshop will provide a platform for
the co-working of industry and academia. The purpose of the workshop
is to seed the Institute-Industry Nexus on a continuous journey
towards best practices in each area. This workshop is designed to be
the first in a series of annual workshops. The duration of the
workshop is 1.5 days starting from July 29, 2014 afternoon. The
deliberations and discussions will be on one specific topic/theme in
each functional area. The technical sessions will be divided in four
tracks based on the functional area such as Marketing, Finance,
Operations and HR. In the session, authors will be given an
opportunity to present the selected research papers on the specified
theme of the domain.
We seek active participation in the event from the academic
institutions, industry, business associations and student community.
